I suggest Daniel J. Siegel, Mindful Brain in Psychotherapy: Neural PLasticity... ww Norton, 2006
His perspective is the interpersonal and he also has a book on Trauma and the Brain (which I have not read). Especially important is work having to do with early PTSD and hippocampal processing of events and inability to integrate experiences and tell past events from events happening now.
Let us know what you are putting together, Ann Hale

Hello, Hamish,
About your request:
also Ed Hug, a psychodramatist, has recently written a chapter on this subject for a forthcoming book, Advancing Theories of Psychodrama, to be published by Routledge next year. It's an anthology of a number of chapters by international authors.
I'll send a copy of this to him and perhaps he'll write to you. Warmly, Adam

Look up B. van der Kolk's 2003 and 2004 writings. as well as his seminal book in 1996. In an article for the International Association of Eating Disorders in 2003 or 4, he clearly uses neurobiology to say why experiential methods are the treatment of choice for trauma. RIght now he is doing pre and post brain scans to prove that....Kate

Hullo
Does anyone have an article detailing the research into brain function, trauma and its correlation to action methods / psychodrama for healing.
If so could you please attach it to me or point me to it.
Thanks

Dear Jorg
I (Anne) do not agree with your proposed procedure
- We need to know first the new deciders, the publisher,
and read carefullyu the critics to psychodrama and experiencial therapies they want to eraze,
and then act intelligently directly ; various persons from various angles
- what could have been done directly has been done zlready by Adam himself
see below,(on the original paper invoice,of to-day)
the paper of someone a boput Van der Kole, and we need to use somehtiong of the kind, as an approcach
we need to change the tide, not to do more of the same
I cannot find here below what was the end of this message, with the
reference of Van der Kolke
anne, 87 years old, in psychodrama & group work since 1951 already
