Hello Colleagues,

I will be teaching a Intro to Psychology course at Montclair state
University to freshman in sept
the class has 100 students and is supposed to be best as a lecture class.
However, I have always taught action methods in the grad program with 20-35
students and was able to make it interactive.
Can you give me any suggestions on how to utilize break out groups,
interactive exercises, etc with this may students.
the chapter topics are:
developing thru the life span, therapy, abnormal psych, emotions, nature vs
nurture, and others.
I am not .looking for exercises do the spec chapters obviously but how to
involve the class in learning thru interaction.

any suggestions would help. I am really looking for any sociometric, or
interactive techniques that can be used with such a large class.

Thank you so much
