intro to psychology

Hi Carole, my suggestion that can in turn lead to all kinds of experiential approaches
would be to make role theory the optimal user-friendly language for intro to psychology
for freshman.
Listing roles is a good early exercise. Doing some circle sociometry, with all the
students standing in a big circle, possible two to four students deep, and coming into the
middle of the group as you call out some variable: Birth order, change of culture, etc.
It introduces people to those with common issues and also sharpens the group to real
psychosocial issues.
Well, I could go on for hours, but that's enough for now. Warmly, Adam
