Dear All--My experience is that children naturally explore their world and their relationships through role play when given the space, opportunities, and support. Two wonderful examples are my two grandchildren. They not only spontaneously role play all the time but love when I engage with them. They are natural born directors as well, having no problem telling me exactly what to say when I get it "wrong," how to stage things, etc. etc. And I give credit to their parents who understand the importance of these activities and readily role reverse with them. It is a beautiful thing to watch. Patti
