      I just want to point out that the San Francisco conference was a huge success...and I heard from many, many people what a grand time they had. I do not think the lack of interest in psychodrama has anything to do with the ASGPP but is the result of many socio-economic-philosophical changes in the last few decades. In fact, the membership committee of the organization did a survey of people who had let their memberships lapse, and very few suggested it was due to problems with the organization itself.  The two big issues I heard about as part of that committee was personal financial and time resources/professional identity and the  quality of the journal, I was a member of the council during the two previous presidents, and heard some of the same, and many different complaints. 
      The bottom line is that the council are a bunch of volunteers who work exceedingly hard to keep the organization going. If the council feels that they no longer want to have grouptalk be part of the website, let's just move on and make it grouptalk be  we want it to be. We can certainly ask the council to add it to the link page.

    I think your words ring truth. In fact I spoke with several TEPs' who don't want to come to the 06 conference because they are frustrated with the organization.
    I have been in the organization for 30 years and it is sad to see how the politics and lack of interest has dwindled. It is my hope, I am always optimistic, that it doesn't fade. Those like yourself have worked hard to keep it alive.
    I think  Carole is not dreaming but has an optimistic view
