It respects each person's unique spiritual path - as well as the reality that many people have no spiritual path at all.Souldrama® is an action-oriented process that builds on a new level of psychodrama. It is a therapeutic teaching tool based upon psychodramatic process that is designed for psychotherapists and other helping professionals to move clients who cannot move forward even though they may have finished their family of origin issues. 
Originally designed for the population of co-dependents and for those adults from addictive and dysfunctional family systems, it is useful for a variety of professionals who are seeking ways to address spiritual issues in counseling rooms and has far-reaching implications for healing for other clients.

We will be in session daily from 9-12 and 7:30-9:30 each day. One full day will be devoted to a spiritual journey. This cost will be extra.
After years of therapy, then what? Then it is the time for soul work. 
 The Workshop:
 These workshops will be especially useful for helping those looking for personal growth or how to discover and renew their own spiritual gifts.
 Participants will learn experientially and didactically how to apply the six stage process of Souldrama for spiritual growth and development and through transgenerational psychodrama, bring freedom from a from a compulsive repetition of patterns, that we could call *fate* or *destiny* or even *transgenerational karma*. While, doing so, we will build a cross cultural awareness to the "encounter" to the world.The concept of Co-Unconscious is one of the main key to our understanding of what is called now *transgenerational links". This is also related to *unfinished business*, with trauma and death, with *wound of love* events that repeat themselves, following the rule of *unfinished tasks* that need to have to keep being repeated until its meaning is clarified. Remove the psychological loyalties to people of previous generations with whom there was some *unfinished business* or traumatic event. The following generations will tend to repeat the *script of life* of this original person or relation, repeating unconsciously the same pattern without even being aware of the original trauma (very often a "family secret").
 As you journey through the veils of spiritual development you will learn how to:
Choose the right relationships.
Energize yourself physically and emotionally. 
Cope with the joys and challenges of leading a spiritual life.
Consciously affect the course of your life.
Overcome the fear that prevents you from changing.
Increase your self esteem.

Manuela Maciel is a Psychodrama Director for 20 years, running groups since then, twice a week. She is also the Chairperson of The Psychodrama Section of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and is a member of the board and a teacher in the Portuguese Psychodrama Association. Manuela has presented Psychodrama workshops in Australia, Israel, Turkey, Finland and England and has developed the model of Transgenerational Psychodrama. A longtime psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor and certified psychodramatist, she is the director and founder of the International Institute of Souldrama, the Center for Co-dependency and the Spring Lake Heights Counseling Center, Spring Lake Heights, N.J. She specializes in working with people in individual and group psychotherapy with problems of relationship, communication and co-dependency.
