grouptalk's function

Dear Rosalie, I did hear back, apparently it was the ASGPP office. Actually, I don't blame them at all. I don't think it is necessary that Eduardo or his new secretary read most of these exchanges. If there is something that he should read, there should be a specific email to him explaining why it is relevant.
On the other hand, I am hoping that a few if not most of the executive council members would join and follow our conversations, as I consider the relatively rapid exchanges and dialogues on grouptalk to constitute perhaps the most dynamic "organ" within the larger ASGPP "system." The Newsletter is good, but there's a many month delay before input gets outputted, and there's no real channel for the newsletter to host or respond to letters to the editor. It comes out too infrequently. Nick was going to have a letters from the president newsletter, but there were only two of them (if that many) back in, what? 2004 or 2005... then nothing...
So... let's try to make grouptalk what it can be as a kind of living organism.
There was some talk of promoting internet sociometry, but I'm dubious of that idea for a number of reasons, the most obvious being that (it seems to me) 90% of the people who get grouptalk rarely if ever contribute anything.
So how many people are members? What percentage contribute a message more often than
once a year, every 3 months, a month, a week?
Well, those are some thoughts. Warmly, adam

Thanks for your thoughts Adam. They express my sentiments.
Why, how come, and who on the board made the decision to UNSUBSCRIBE.
Rosalie
