Hi Karen, I hope and pray that you and Ron will use this workshop to finish the paper. I could send you a copy of what he sent. If I weren't so busy, I'd even work on it, but I'm working on many other projects.
I respect your interest, and if you think this is good, please put your name on the paper--it happens all the time in graduate studies-- and let's get this information out there.
Anne Ancelin-Schutzenberger is wary about this approach. I don't know what to make of it. It seems to be a kind of application of family sculpture work in interesting ways.
(Do you know of Augusto Boal's use of 'tableaux" as an important technique in his Theatre of the Oppressed work?)

So anything that gives an infusion of life, and maybe even the spice of a bit of controversy, will help vitalize our field.
What else can I say? Warmly, Adam

Subject: Systemic Family Constellation training in Racine, Wis.

This weekend's training is filling up nicely, but we have a few more spots available. It's a great opportunity to learn about leading edge experiential work while also having the options to address personal development.

"Systemic Family Constellation," with Ron Anderson, LPC, CADC III, TEP, and Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, TEP, at Lake House Health & Learning Center, 932 Lake Ave., Racine, Wis.

Systemic Constellation Work, newly arrived from Germany where it is quite popular, works with the soul of the family or group in subtle but amazing ways. In this group, you will learn:

  - The history and background of Systemic Family Constellation.

  - How unconscious material is transferred systemically and energtically from one generation to the next.

  - The power of healing sentences

  - The importance of order and honor in the family

  - How Family Constellation can be integrated with psychodrama, spiritual direction and other action methods

  - How Family Constellation methods can be adapted to individual settings

  Times are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.

Participants will also have multiple opportunities to address personal issues during the weekend if they wish -- a good option for professionals to gain personal growth in a safe and confidential atmosphere. Tuition is $225, which includes training, printed materials, healthy snacks and CEUs for social workers, licensed professional counselors and addictions counselors; psychodrama hours also provided. Space is limited; contact Karen Carnabucci ASAP at (262) 633-2645 for information or to reserve your seat.

If this information is new to you, you may learn more about this method you may visit www.hellinger.com, the site of Bert Hellinger, the originator of this method and author of "Love's Hidden Symmetry."

P.S. If you've contacted me about this training before and have not received a reply, I have been having e-mail problems so you may wish to copy your message to my alternate e-mail at lakehouse at aol.com.
