Michael Wieser of Vienna sent this along, for your interest, and I'm passing it along.

Moreno House after IAGP Conference

(They want to turn the house where Moreno worked outside Vienna into a museum.)

Adelsa Cunha (Brazil) brought the idea come trough to produce bricks for selling. Carlos Meira (Brazil) made out of a photo from Barbara Pfaffenwimmer (Austria) a coloured painting in the size of A4. It was produced in 5000 copies. The FEBRAB (Federation of Brazilian Psychodramatist) stand and Carmen de la Fuente (Mexico, translator) offered it to the conference participants. Grete Leutz (GER) wrote about it in the international psychodrama announcement list. Heloisa Fleury (Brazil) showed it before a keynote speech and I announced it in the General Assembly, different panels and presentations. The last day I was at the FEBRAB stand to sell the copies. To cover the costs of production FEBRAB will sell also at their next national conference in November. Some colleagues were helpful to take some copies abroad to sell them at their local conferences and institutes. At the moment Stylianos Lagarkis (Greece) is doing this at the Summer Psychodrama Academy. Renée Oudijk wrote that the amount her students bring together, the School will double. Many thanks to all of them, especially to Adelsa Cunha. We hope soon they will visit the Moreno house and will see their fruits of work and financial risks.

DVD Presentations: Heloisa Fleury (Brazil) was so kind to introduce my presentation and did also some translation into Portuguese. First Anne Ancelin Schützenberger´s (France) and Elisabeth Adelsberger´s (Austria) DVD "On the traces of J.L. Moreno in Vienna" was shown followed by Brigitte Wojta´s (Austria) DVD "Dr. Jakob Levy Moreno". We had a discussion about the Moreno house with Joseph Moreno (USA). Elisabeth Adelsberger was so kind to offer some amount of the selling of her DVD at the FEBRAB stand for the Moreno house.

Lecture series in the Moreno house: Rene Marineau (Canada), Joseph Moreno and Eva Fahlström (Sweden) offered to have a summer course or session in the house and would not ask for a honorarium. Jose Fonseca (Brazil), Gabor Pinter (Hungary), Maurizio Gasseau (Italy), Monica Zuretti (Italy, Argentina), Manuela Maciel (Portugal), Chiara de Marino (Italy, Brazil) and Jonathan Fox (USA) announced similar before. We need someone who is willing to organize this. The idea is to spend a working day for a foundation. Gretel Leutz will have a first seminar of her Moreno institute end of September there.

Rene Marineau also offered to bring some old material of his archive to the Moreno house.

Marco J. D. Maida (Brazil), the movie-maker of "Jacob Levy Moreno - his life and his muses" asked to find the words of the father on the walls in the Moreno house.

Rudolfine Lackner (Austria, ed.) (2006) and Cornelia Silli made a new exhibition and book: Das Findbuch zur Vereinigung bildender KünstlerInnen Österreichs. Vienna: VBKÖ.

Mid of June I sent an offer to the owner of the house there was no answer. Helmut Haselbacher (Austria) got some informal information:

a.. We have to found an (international) association.
b.. We need 150 to 200.000 EURO on the savings bank book.
Barbara Farkas Erlacher (Austria) and Friederike Scherr (Austria) are asking in the Austrian ministry of education for money from the state and EU. Barbara is also in contact with the theatre museum in Vienna and will contact the government of Lower Austria; Bad Vöslau is part of that. She also contacted the Kiesler foundation. (It is amazing how much she is engaged, this month she will celebrate her 70th birthday).

a.. We have to announce in psychodrama newsletters and websites.
b.. We have to speak with a trustee (Treubilanz Steuerberatung Dr. Schodl, Austria) to control our finances.
I think it is up to us psychodramatists to bring this project to a success.
