Dear Ed, Bud, others,
Ed raved about a few books, but I've never gotten a sense of what they're about. Being caught up in a book publication process, I prioritize my time; on the other hand, I respect y'all and would really appreciate your telling me/us a little:
fiction or non-fiction general subjects covered general theme or direction of socio-politico-cultural bias. If we agreed with the author, what causes would we join, what would we do more or less of? eat meat? pollute? vote republican? support the space program?

referring to Jensen's books, Language Older than words.
and The two volumes of Endgame

I'll check with my library.

I've discovered some, and pass them along.

Mind blowing, difficult, heart breaking, deeply
    moving, troubling, urgent, vital.

    Derrick Jensen's

    'A Language Older Than Words'
    and
    Endgame.
