Dear Karen,
It is so sad that you did not get a chance to meet Hannah, and thought of
her only as the creator of the magic shop. I was privileged to be her
younger friend.,and for few years before her death I was a co director of
her Institute in Brooklyn. Because we both directed the open sessions at
the Moreno Institute in NYC,I got to spent a lot of time with her. Her
Thursday evenings drew great crowds. She was not only a brilliant, talented
Director, she was modelling spontaneity. Watching her was always a pleasure:
there would be always something new! She was extremely supportive of younger
Directors, and I had enjoyed her support very much. It was people like her
that made the Annual Meetings during the 70ies and 80ties --opportunities
for unscripted suprises. I miss her badly. Perhaps we should have""
reminiscence workshop" at the Annual Meeting.,and introduce her
psychodramatically....especially to the recipients of the award in her
name...
Best,Anath Garber
