Thanks for your comment about getting a scan of the article.
I will be able to do that. I will post it some time next for you
and our colleagues outside of the Northeast USA where it might
be hard to find. What is amazing to see is how similar the
sociogram of US intelligence marking the connections of those
they are concerned with - and their connections how similar that
is to the sociograms in Who Shall Survive?
I recently spent an OUTSTANDING TEP weekend in Charlottesville witih
Zerka Moreno. There were 2 colleagues from Spain and 2 from Portugal
including the incoming President of the IAGP.
During that TEP weekend Zerka (who by the way looks so lovely, so young,
so vital, so vibrant, so well) told many stories. One was about how
the British Intelligence Service during WW2 wrote to Beacon asking for
a number of copies of Who Shall Survive, and the follow up in their
use of sociometry to understand the functioning of different groups on
the battlefield.
Zerka, in great detail, outlined what they learned from that study.
So to see this sociogram of intelligence emerge again - was for me -
like seeing the face of Moreno appear before my eyes!
Best,
Ed Schreiber, TEP
Director
