tragedies, the world over, and near home

Well, like I said, Zerka Moreno is the final word for me.
And I mean that about me and my life. When I find the need
to become certain, and when I ask her, I am always hit with
things I like but things I don't expect. At times painful,
like shooting holes in my defenses, I always find I am bathing
in a spontaneity state when I hang out with her or when I write
to her. So for me she has 90 years of living life and many years
formulating the method we use. So I take her words seriously - and
form my own conclusions and live my own life with as much honesty
and sensitivity, strength and passion I can find within myself and
in my relations.

>Yes, insanity knocks again and again. I am making prayers for those who passed over and those loved ones who remain. And something that this listserve has reminded me of recently, I am also praying for the willingness to make prayers for the young man who was compelled to take life instead of fostering his own. That is a much harder thing for me to do, especially when I think of the possibility that one of my own children could have been caught in the cross file. But then isn't that the point, that we are all related? {sigh} Patti

The deaths of students and faculty may be senseless and yet we have a nation which continues to support "the right to bear arms". Yesterday what was born in arms were gunshot students, some dead, some bleeding out, some not even twenty years old. The seller of the second gun, a Glock, was interviewed. He was shocked to find that it was a gun he had sold him. He said, " I just wish it hadn't been my store."

This is something I hope to talk to others about in the World Cafe. Please pray or offer up a healing energy for these families and the recovery of this whole community. Grieving, and yet I did not know a single one of them personally. Ann Hale
