Dear Ann,

Thank you so much for sharing the shock-grief
you are absorbing and living in your area;
and this has extended outward throughout the
entire country. I send love to you there as
best I can and honor your wisdom and compassion
and - hope you continue to provide leadership through
example as you do and have for so many.

Ed

>I live a few miles from Virginia Tech and family and friends teach there. The deaths of students and faculty may be senseless and yet we have a nation which continues to support "the right to bear arms". Yesterday what was born in arms were gunshot students, some dead, some bleeding out, some not even twenty years old. The seller of the second gun, a Glock, was interviewed. He was shocked to find that it was a gun he had sold him. He said, " I just wish it hadn't been my store."

>Well, I just wish it couldn't be anyone's store. Fortunately there are countries who have banned personal side arms. Maybe we can learn from them. This is something I hope to talk to others about in the World Cafe. Please pray or offer up a healing energy for these families and the recovery of this whole community. Grieving, and yet I did not know a single one of them personally. Ann Hale
