The Journal of Psychodrama and Sociometry - Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie (ZPS) - is edited in German language (with summaries in English) twice a year in a publishing house specialized on social sciences:

The topics and issues of the journal are manifold. This includes

-          the axiological basis of psychodrama (axioms, ethics etc.)   

-          theoretical issues: discussions of Moreno's concepts, the development of psychodramatic and sociometric concepts in general, the discussion of concepts stemming from other traditions like psychoanalysis, sociology etc., integrative theoretical models, well founded variations of psychodramatic concepts fitting for different fields of work,

-          development of psychodramatic, sociodramatic and sociometric procedures and techniques in general (situation-analysis, situation-intervention, reflection) and considering the necessities of different fields of work (psychotherapy, pedagogy, social work, theology...)

-          accounts of psychodramatic, sociodramatic and sociometric interventions in different fields of work in the form of case-analyses or process-descriptions

-          questions of research methods (process of problem solution, evaluation)

 

Consequently the "Journal of Psychodrama and Sociometry" publishes theoretical and practical contributions corresponding to the width of the approach. In addition the journal intends to promote the further development of the psychodrama network in the German speaking countries. Connections to the international psychodrama scene are to be stimulated.
