our diversity

While it is certainly true there are psychodrama trained persons all over the globe, as a collective of professionals we are a minority. People become attracted to the method, try it out, stick for awhile, and then move on. Then there are the few who have a deep and abiding attachment to the method, the ideas, the philosophy and form the "tribe". We've decided to be IN for the long term.

Grouptalk is a vehicle for helping us explore and support one another. (minorities need that) I'd rather not see what we write about limited. The question "what do the rest of you think" could imply that a consensus ought to be sought and adhered to. Next we would have a rule.

So...Ed has these topics he feels strongly about. Personally, I like hearing about taking on big issues. Adam Blatner likes to have us write stuff. We know that. Rosalie like to be the cheerleader occasionally. Grace will join in from a big picture frame. My contribution is often being sort of "preachy". Rebecca, "cuts to the chase" and gets us sharing more our resources. Cynthia can be counted on to write a thoughtful, cogent reply. We are getting to know one another and slowly others join in as time and issues permit. It is less isolating to write to one another this way.

Our areas of application need to be diverse. What we write about can't help but be the same.
