I am pleased to announce a full-day training in psychodrama for mental 
health professionals and those seeking certification in this method.

 

Scheduled for Sunday, January 20 (10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) this session 
will cover topics such as:

    * Overview of the Triadic System: Sociometry, Psychodrama and Group
      Psychotherapy.
    * Warm Up techniques.
    * Action Sociograms.
    * Doubling, Role Reversals and other techniques.
    * Highlighting the sociometry through the three sequences of
      warm-up, action and closure.
    * Processing the entire session.

 

Most of the teaching will be done in action. Handouts to cover theory 
and further reading will be given.

 

The fee for this day: $120.00 (scholarships are available).

 

Six hour credit hours will be given.

Jacob Gershoni, LCSW, CGP, TEP is a psychotherapist in private practice, 
specializing in experiential, expressive and interactive group therapy, 
certified as Trainer, Practitioner and Educator (TEP) by the American 
Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. 
He is a staff member at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and at the 
Psychodrama Training Institute in New York City. Previously, he was a 
Senior Psychiatric Social Worker at Queens Child Guidance Center. He has 
led workshops and presentations in many local and international 
conferences and has ongoing therapy and training groups.  Jacob is the 
editor of "Psychodrama in the 21^st Century: Clinical and Educational
