Hello to Anne and Ed and all of Group talk,

I totally agree with the you both I am remindined of a native American poem that goes like this :

  The Journey
One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at you ankles. "Mend my life", each voice cried.
But you din't stop, you knew whatyou had to do, though the wind cried with it's stiff fingers at the very foundations through their melancholy was terrible.
It was already late enough, and a wild night, and the road full of fallen branches and stones. But little by little, as you left their voices behind, the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds, and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper in to the world, determined to do the only thing you could do..determined to save the only life you could save.
  Mary Oliver..(dream work)
I am grateful to the Psychodrama community and wish harmony and balance in all of our lives...
  Lorelei

I am remembering the email conversations we had last year, reactions to the publication by the American Sociological Association which revealed that, in the US at least, the average number of people other peole know has dropped from four to two. And, that many people are not connected to other people at all.

We talked about why this might be so.

As we join friends and family for the holidays, may each of us stretch that extra bit to include, and enlarge our circle.
My special thanks to each of you who write to this listserve, to Tom Treadwell, who keeps it going, and to Adam for his abiding interest. Joyful days ahead for everyone, I hope.

Hi,
Wow, what a great email Ann. I think if we can do this with one another, intead of the segmenting of one another, our society would be so much more alive and vital. The psychodramatic society I mean.

One comment to John and the ASGPP Council.
Seems we are a a juncture in our organizations's life.

I had this dream of having 2 hours together; not this rushed time. TWO HOURS at a town meeting; like the one's we have here in Massachusetts after the last major snow, often in March. People gather, bring food to share and spend about 3 or 4 hours talking one at a time addressing the group about their dreams for the town and its growth and humanity. Very moving.

Wish we could do that.

Ed
