In response to Adam:
Reember that long ago (actually it still exits) MAD MAGAZINE front page character of Alfred E. Newman, who would always have as a logo-theme "What Me Worry?"
Frankly I am not worried about the melting ice caps.
Who needs polar bears anyway?
And who needs the global conveyer belt that moves heat from the equator north?
And who anyway needs the saline composition to stay the same anyway, to move the heat?
You're right: let's not worry.
Let's "let it be" and "let it happen".
After all, shouldn't we just "trust the process?"
I agree, no need to feel urgency, after all it's Atlanta not New England that' running out of water.
And anyway, who gives a hoot about the death of the oceans, what good are they really?
So no need to worry.
No need to feel urgent.
We'll be ok, we are after all Americans.
And that's the point.
