urgency & philosophy

Ed, your point about what, me worry? is valid especially regarding the part of the
spectrum that is below 4% in my rough imagined scene: This is denial, the state achieved
by getting drunk or absorbed in distractions.
I'm proposing a middle arena of engagement and edge that at the same time doesn't
shift from level "yellow" or medium alertness to level "red" (over 12%) at which point
affects cloud judgment.
This threshold varies with temperament and other factors.

I also want to emphasize that what-to-do-about-it needs to be woven in: The old
serenity prayer by Niebuhr--the courage to change what I can, and strength to endure what
I cannot, and the wisdoom to know the difference. This discrimination is the key.

I want to seek very specific and practical applications of sociatry and not be
satisfied with just talking about how it is a grand idea.

         Warmly, ADam
