"Social Intelligence" & Empathy training

Gloria and all:

I have been reading Goleman's new book "Social Intelligence," and
find it be a remarkable book that addresses many psychodrama theories
from a neurologic perspective such as "tele" -- see the chapter on
rapport and the value of role playing and mirroring -- see the
discussion of Stanislavski's method at pg. 57 (in the chapter
entitled "An Instinct for Altruism.").

For me, this book is one of the best reads since a "General Theory of
Love."

Interestingly, Goleman does not mention Moreno or psychodrama.
Notably, Zerka does use the term "social intelligence" in her article
on Tele in the "Quintessential Zerka" at pg. 292. Zerka remarks that
tele is a form of "social intelligence."

I would be interesting in hearing what others in the psychodrama
community think of Goleman's new book.
