psychodrama by others

I have no idea who knows about these folks. Can someone ask John Mosher?
Judy Swallow and I made a special point, during the five day intensive, of
stressing the history of psychodrama and the importance of being well
trained in it by ABE certified practitioners. This woman nodded her head at
lot...I think she got it, but whether or not she will be back I do not know.
There are a number of people who claim to be certified psychodrama
therapists (you can't imagine what I find at 3:30 AM when I can't sleep and
go on line!!) I have never heard of them and have no idea who certified
them.
Dale Buchanan of the ABE has made it clear we do not have trademark on
the word psychodrama (darn it). In New York State, however, because there is
now a licensed creative arts therapist title, people why want to practice
creative arts therapy as a social worker or a psychologist need to be
certified or fully trained by a program with that is nationally accredited
by a recognized organization. NYS recognized the ASGPP and the ABE as being
the legitimate organizations representing psychodrama. But as for other
states, well we just don't own the word. I wish it were otherwise.
I am hoping that someone on grouptalk will know these folks and can
reassure us that they have been properly trained, even if they never got
certified. But somehow I doubt it.
Rebecca
