my insensitivity

To Connie and Manuela, I have been insensitive and you were hurt by my concerns regarding confidentiality. I regret this and make this public apology to you. I also appreciate the comments from others that identify cultural diferences in managing moments of grief.  Being private persons is something I shared with Clare.

As I mentioned in the original email I am pleased to know she was surrounded by a loving community with you both  and others in January.   Perhaps it will help to know that I actually  received the email each of you sent out a total of eight times as I receive both iagp and grouptalk emails; four (two from each of you) upon hearing of her death from Rebecca and four again this week. I have known Clare 37 years and we have a long and fruitful history. Each time an email arrived the issues I wrote about were raised again for me.  Since I choose to get both I am not complaining, rather "explaining".

At a more appropriate time perhaps we can discuss the more complex aspects of any other issues.
