To all Grouptalkers,

The New York City Chapter of NASW (The National Associations of Social
Workers) will hold its 39^th annual conference on March 15^th at the
Lincoln Center campus of Fordham University in New York. It is a large
gathering of social workers and other mental health professionals
working with a wide variety of addictions.

This year’s conference will have two concurrent keynote presentations
and 37 two-hour workshops. It is nice to note that a bunch of our
psychodrama colleagues are presenting in this conference: Louise Lipman,
Lavern Washington, Phoebe Atkinson, Suzy Jary and Letitia Coburn. If I
miss anyone, Please wake up and tell me/us. I will lead two workshops
focusing on theory and techniques of Action Methods (Sociometry,
Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy):

--# 13, entitled: “Experiential, Expressive and Interactive Techniques
to Enhance Providers Work with Addictions”

--#25, entitled: “Psychodramatic Role Theory: A Practical Guide to
Working with Clients in Early, Middle and Late Stage Recovery”
(co-leader: Louise Lipman).
