PD and Aspergers

Sure, it depends on how much Asperger's... I view this condition on a spectrum, like the talent for music or math or languages. 
       There's no discrete cut-off. So exploring role taking, awakening imagination, seeing what can happen... is one approach.
  Another is simply role playing desired socially acceptable behaviors, learning them as routines, without needing to understand the why--basically like teaching etiquette. Territoriality, eye contact, etc. 
        Mixing these two. 

       Reminds me of the programs folks are instituting in medical schools--and some engineering schools too-- to raise interpersonal competence.

  Recently a psychologist I know asked if psychodrama might be useful for an adult man with aspergers who has recently become aware that he doesn't feel things deeply in the same way others do.
