fiddling with self expression

A psychologist came into our gallery yesterday. Her dissertation (in progress) is a study of the impact of the pentagon-designed video games targeted at 13 year old boys with the purpose of producing a military-type.  She said that she was finding it remarkable that the visual stimulus with the "role play" in video games had such high results.  So, there is expression, but maybe the self in self-expression has been fiddled with by outside sources.
