Some of us grasp reaality intuitively,in which case the model you suggest
may not apply.
When you felt a need to paint,shortly after Carl's death -intuitively you
grasped a truth,you were conscious of a need -did it require self
talk?.Except ,of course,you were aware that it is you who has the need.
If that is what you mean -then yes.
