Hello there: Per Adam's encouragement, I am trying to network with other
organizations and get out the word about psychodrama. Until June 30 you can
hear the interview I did with the US Bodypsychotherapy Assn, for their web-
if you are not a USABP member, login with ConversationJune, code name
buttermilk. I also find that getting out the word thru in-service for mental
health professionals, educators, etc., helps expand possibilities. Karen
Carnabucci is a master at all this and more and I am sure has tons of ideas
you can get from her website/listserve/books. Linda Ciotola

To all
I was thinking about aristotele. I wanted to share an Ann Hale story. (How
about my aristotele score? I'd have either a better standing in the
universe, guilt by association or hopefully a little of both in balance!)
Please allow me to warm-up to this by saying I admire Ann Hale, now the
story. At an annual meeting I was talking with her. We faced each other (and
she was busy tearing my eyes from my skull, of course, and placing them in
place of her own. You know, the usual.). So far so good. She said something
I didn't like. Get this picture. I turned away from facing her. I took a
step away in that 180 degree direction. That is all logical. What happened
is I ran into her. In the time it took me to turn, she had moved around me.
Are you getting this? It sounds clever on her part doesn't it? It is more.
Movement like that is physically impossible. She did not have the time to do
it yet she did it. Herein, the Ann Hale story is profound not trivial and
lends an insight into the kind of person she is. Ann Hale is impossible! She
can do the impossible and stand there with a smile on her face the whole
time with huge blue eyes looking at you innocently. Piece of advice: She's a
good one just don't ever try to turn from her.

Hello,
I had unsubscribed online, but keep receiving lots of grouptalk's emails.
Could you stop that for me, thanks.

Re ASGPP Awards. If you are a member of ASGPP, please warm up to nominating
those whom you think have given of themselves for our field.
I've just updated the website:
http://www.blatner.com/adam/pdntbk/asgppawards.html
And there's another webpage about the awards on the ASGPP website
www.asgpp.org
warmly, Adam

Dear Colleagues,
Do any of you know about separate listserves---other than Grouptalk--
that spread the news about psychodrama? How can we ensure that relevant
announcements get out there?
For example, Dale Richard Buchanan was saying that most of the CPs
and TEPs have not put up their directory information on the new American
Board of Examiners' website!
Could you talk to those you know who are certified and ask them why?
Or encourage them to do so? Getting that directory fully --- what's the word
here?-- empowered? filled out? --- offers a number of advantages.
1. it's publicity for folks. They can link to their websites, get
their photo up, say something about areas of special interest. In this
sense, it's a good sociometric tool, so that everyone can be known for what
they want to be known for...
2. Face recognition builds group cohesion
3. It doesn't take all that much time..
4. You can use this directory as you did the paper-back hard copy, to
tell people about folks in other areas. Say you have a patient moving to
another state... you can help that person network.
Warmly, Adam
