This is a bit of a problem I have been noticing. And I notice I feel some irritation when I face 100 emails and click on to grouptalk emails only to find that that I just wasted time opening and reading emails that weren't for the listserve at large. Please, those who are responding to a particular person, send your response to that person?! Thanks, Patti

  Hi Tom

I have noticed that grouptalk seems to have aconsiderable number of posts that are inadvertently sent to the group at large where they have in fact been meant for an individual.

I am a member of several online groups but grouptalk is the only one that seems to have this problem.

All the other groups I belong to show the name of the group in the subject line of the email. Usually in brackets first. IAGP, for example does this. I wondere if grouptalk could do this. It would be interesting if see if this cut down on the mis-sent posts and thus saved people's embarrassment when they find they have broadcast a post meant for only 1 person to the entire list.

  Cheers
  Gillian Rose
