I am looking for books (for patient) on CVS & IBS and hopefully someone on
the list may have a few recommendations.

I do not necessarily need the technical aspects of either syndrome. 
Looking for more of a self report of someone that had overcome their 
dilemma.

There are listservs for IBS and an national organizaton for CVS - yet i 
have not come across books or articles written by persons afflicted with the
syndromes.
