Dear Colleagues, Good News!
My extensive chapter on Psychodrama that was part of the major textbook on comparative psychotherapies by Drs. Raymond J. Corsini and Danny Wedding (i.e., "Current Psychotherapies,"--in 2004--7th edition) has now been posted online as an "additional chapter." What this means is that you can read it for free without having to buy that costly (now over $85 !) whole textbook. Furthermore, I've updated some of its references! This means that you can have your beginning students have access to a good medium-length chapter instead of having to read a whole textbook. That comes next.
Corsini notes in his introduction that his vision (and mine) is that many of the best insights of Moreno's theory and methods can be integrated into an eclectic approach to therapy. Psychodrama shouldn't be thought of only as a take-it-or-leave-it package, but as something that is a rich complex of ideas and techniques that can be adapted to many approaches and settings, including non-clinical settings.
