Hi Pals, Zerka T. Moreno tmceline at comcast.net  asked me to pass this along:

  Prof. Eliot Sorel of Washington, DC,   (does anyone know his email address??)  has 
organized a J.L. Moreno celebration in Sibiu, Romania, taking place from July 5-7, 2007.
      Moreno was born in Bucharest.  Sibiu has been designated by the European cultural 
community as a center of culture for 2007, along with Luxemburg. Romania has joined the 
European Union in January, a fitting symbol of unity for Moreno's life.  Both Regina and 
Jonathan Moreno plan to attend and participate in the program.
             (AB: does anyone know more details about this---possible travel arrangements, 
contacts in Romania, etc.?)

   There is a plaque on a modern building in Bucharest dedicated to J.L. Moreno, presented 
by the local psychodrama community, indicating that on that spot stood the house in which 
Moreno was born and where the family resided until they moved to Vienna when he was six 
years of age.

  Another item:  Dr. Jorge Burmeister, the current President of the IAGP, and his wife 
Natacha Navarro Roldan, have named their training center in Granada, Spain, the Centro 
Moreno, in honor of both Morenos.
