Yes, it is good to hear from Nick, and I wonder what the size of his mailing list is.
Is it to all members with an email address?

           Several associated questions:

    1. How many people does the ASGPP president reach in his emails.
How many of those emails are current?
Are any efforts made to ascertain the correct email address in those that
bounce back. People often change email servers and don't notify their significant related
collectives.

     2. Would it be appropriate to respectfully request that
           (a) Grouptalk be allowed to invite the membership to join grouptalk?
            (b) repeat that invitation and appropriate directions in the PNN
            (c) restore grouptalk to the asgpp website, if only as a link
            (d) admittedly, grouptalk is not restricted to ASGPP members or even
just American psychodramatists. It has many international participants. That's good, now
that it seems as if ASGPP will be affiliating soon with the IAGP.

     3. Might it be important and useful to have a discussion of the advantages,
disadvantages, limitations, and benefits of participating in the ASGPP forum, associated
with the ASGPP website.
Might there be a place for both a website-accessed, password-needing
discussion site, and also an easy, email list-site?

     4. Do others have papers they would like to contribute to the ASGPP website?
(there should be no copyright problems. Thus, papers published in, say, the
HELDREF-controlled journals, such as our present main psychodrama journal-- would require
their consent for publication online.
(Incidentally, I've been told by the last managing editor at HELDREF that papers
more than about 5 years old may be published---at least that was the policy last I heard--
so I've put some of my earlier 1990s papers that came out in the JGPPS on my website.)

My overall goal is to promote
              general interchange, socially
                 interchange intellectually, discussing issues
more writings for the journal so as to establish our professional status
among the other psychotherapeutic professionals, journals, and organizations, teachers,
deans, etc...
               announcements of developments
especially those that the wider membership and associates can access
and use in various ways
applications of Moreno's work both in the clinical arena (hospitals, clinics,
private practices) and beyond it, in schools, business training programs, religion, social
action, community building, personal development, recreation, etc.

Ideas as to how to pursue these goal gladly accepted. Warmly, Adam Blatner
