*Hear about IEA's dynamic, creative ways of working as a psychoanalyst.

*IEA provides intensive training in psychoanalytic theory and practice. We
recognize the artistry in psychoanalysis and teach both its art and science.

*IEA's unique perspective allows for verbal and, where indicated, non-verbal
interventions such as art, poetry, movement, music, and drama, with the most
important medium being the psychoanalyst her or himself.

*Our approach to psychoanalysis is eclectic and integrative. Study Freud,
Jung and post-classical, contemporary techniques such as Object Relations,
Self Psychology, Relational and Intersubjective Theory.

*Recent Neurobiological research supports the importance of attending to not
only verbal cues, but also to analyst and patient body-based states, noting
