Hello all: Zerka says JL developed the Magic Shop. I have a website with
articles that can be downloaded: www.fitness-movement.com . I just completed
an interview with someone from the US Bodypsychotherapy Assn. on how I
incorporate some bodypsychotherapy practices into my work as a
psychodramatist. It will be aired on a USABP web audio program in the near
future - I will let you know details as I have them. I gave the web address
for "abe" and they will put a link on their website. Tele, Linda Ciotola

Dear Jeanne Burger,
I'm pleased to find out about your new website:
www.720records.com/psychodrama/
I see you've listed your many upcoming workshops, and I hope that
people sign
up for them. I've heard good things about your work.
Please note the above website in your address book or somewhere. I
hope others in
our community might similarly set up websites and tell us about them.
(And I hope Jeanne, and others on grouptalk, that you'll also link to
my website.).
Finally, to Jeanne and others, if you have any papers (even if
unpublished) about what
you do, why you do it, thoughts about psychodrama or psychotherapy, consider
putting these
up on your website, also. That gives folks more of a reason to visit,
download and use
what you've produced. I'm pleased to say many of the papers I've written
have been thus
used by many people internationally, especially those who can't afford to
buy books, or
are just checking out the field.
Warmly, Adam

Grace,
Thanks for your serious consideration of my question. Of course I have
follow-up. :-)
<<This leads me to truly believe that our
'social currency' is ourselves and our relationships. We 'choose' who and
where we interact, both in our and from there the quality of the choices and
the relationships we develop have the power to influence and change the
world. Whether our work is in the commercial or community sector, whether
it's in our work or in our play... it all counts. >>
Is what you are getting at the idea of "authenticity?" in terms of choices
we make and how we engage with others? It's an interesting idea. The
difference between the shallow things we connect over that often lead to
vacuous, meaningless interactions that fill space and time but tend not to
be all that satisfying... sort of like eating sugar-free carob when what you
are really craving is a bar of Black and Gold 70% cocoa content organic dark
chocolate.

Zerka says that JL originated it, not Hannah.

In my training I heard wonderful remarks about Hannah Wiener.
I concur with the idea of a reminiscence theater to remember our elders
and their contributions. I am still not clear about the originator of the,
"MAGIC SHOP," and would like to hear more about who invented same...
