The Istanbul Psychodrama Institute (IPI) is pleased to announce a special training workshop.
Title:
The Triadic System: Integrating Sociometry, Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy
Description:
This workshop will highlight the importance of integrating all three elements of this method and demonstrate in action how it transcends cultural differences. J. L. Moreno is better known as the pioneer of psychodrama, although he considered Sociometry his most important creation with its potential to reach all of humanity. To some it remains a theoretical framework which is not applied as part of the psychodramatic process. This workshop is divided into two parts:
1) Friday, December 7^th , 18:30 - 20:30
2) Saturday, December 8^th , all day
The first part will be devoted to the theoretical underpinnings of Sociometry as we learn about group structures, individual status and tele-connections within the group.
The second part will consist of experiential and didactic work demonstrating how sociometry is used to warm up the group, and then how it is woven into the action and the sharing segments. Participants will also learn group building skills and many techniques of psychodrama, which are aimed at working with large and small groups in dealing with personal and interpersonal issues.
The workshop will be conducted in English with simultaneous Turkish translation.
