Hello all.
I would like to share with you a surprise I have just had.
My warm up. 
For many years my science background has led me to wonder what new perspective I would get on Moreno's Social/Cultural Atom concept and sociometry if the new knowledge about the structure and functioning of the atom was metaphorically applied. Moreno's simple metaphor of the atom has been very central (hoho) and instructive.
Lo and behold last week whilst reading the Scientific American Mind journal Vol 18 No 4I I came across a book review, The SOCIAL ATOM. A book written by Mark Buchanan, Bloomsbury 2007. The reviewer states "a new research frontier that applies the principles of physics to the study of human social behaviour.
I have it on order. I am looking foreward to see how it can be applied to psychodrama.
I am also interested to see whether he quotes Moreno and if not whether it is appropiate for him to be claiming that this is a new concept and a new use of language.
Has anybody else sighted this yet.
