Thank you john for taking time to respond to writers workshop. However,
my concern is not with the future of the 'journal' - that is in the hands
of a committee and with Heldref Publishing.

My concern is helping members write for our journal.

The workshop you accepted, jackie fowler's, is a good workshop. However,
jackie attended the editor's workshop last year and asked if she could be
helpful - thus we integrated her as a helper in assisting others/members
to write. In brief, i do not think the workshop will meet writing
expectations or needs for a professional journal.

Tom, if part of your concern happens to be having a forum in which to
discuss the future of a "journal" for the Society , then I invite you to
log onto
the Membership Forum of the ASGPP Web , JOC section(Journal Options
Committee)
and enter into dialogue about a future publication. This forum gives us
ample space and time to give the JOC thoughts, concerns and wishes of the
membership.
