2008 ASGPP Writers Workshop

Hi,
I am going to be selfish here, I don't know any other way I feel drawn to reply other than selfishly.
I want to write for the Journal and I am "journal phobic" in some way. I know the reasons, they have to do with my own sense of can I do this for the journal given its recent history of rejecting really great writers and thinkers in our society? I here is the selfish part, John, I feel I want to learn how to write well, for the Journal, and damn it, the Journal needs to flower too, and more writers are needed. So I don't care who does what, John, but I do care that we pull together in the spirit of full inclusion. That said, it would be great to have work done at the conference for writers for our work and our journal. We as a society have a lot to say to the world.
