Dear all, I hope an edited version of Rowan's obituary, adjusted to include comments about
his career in psychodrama, will be included in the PNN when it comes out next. (or the one
after the next if the deadline is past).
Back in 1973, for the first edition of Acting-In, Peter Rowan was one of the
directors of one of the more active training institutes for psychodrama, the one in
Boston. A photo of him taken around 1972:

When did he first train and begin then to teach?
Then that stopped, and next I heard about his being active with the Lesley College
program.
Then he became sicker.
He wrote a few papers for the journal.
Does anyone have contact with his family?
Warmly, Adam
Anath Garber: I knew Peter from our training in Beacon. What a wonderful bear of a man:
wise and cuddly, and a gifted psychodramatist.Over the years I have referred many of my
patients to study at Lesley University because of him.
died 9/17/07 when born?
. ... a devoted expressive therapy faculty member at Lesley University from the 1970's -
2003. One of his greatest accomplishment was the development & leadership in psychodrama
and expressive therapies as an intermodal specialization.
