XVI Brazilian Congress of Psychodrama

Dear Colleagues, This just came from our colleagues in Brazil so I'm passing it along:

    (Are there any others in our network who get these messages? I'd like to not be the only one on grouptalk who does this. I'm getting involved in other projects and may well miss some of these. Perhaps there could be several of us, a team?) 

We are glad to invite all psychodramatist and everyone else who works with group processes to the XVI Brazilian Congress of Psychodram. This year theme will be: How will we survive? Changing action e co-responsability.
          The congress will be held in Recife, PE- Brazil, June 25 -28, 2008. Its axis will be Ethics, Citizenship, and Environment. The program will be as it follows.
 
- Meeting of supervising  Teachers  - Discussions about the aplicability of the methodology, sharing experiences, and developing of social projects
- Universidade em Cena -  A  project of  Universidade Rural de Pernambuco with  Psychodramatists from all over Brazil
- Comunidade em Cena  - Community and members from the Congress interact  and the former have access to the Congress itself.
- Inter-institutional  Aquarium -  The same theme is discussed by different approaches
- Round tables, workshops Panels, coordinated sessions Posters, communications.Scientific program
- Video conference  - Conferencist: ZERKA MORENO ( a homage to her 90 years of age)
- Book writing Based on the Congress theme "Tendencies and  Perspectives", a  book will be written during the event by the participants and published afterwars.
- Participants welfare -  During the Congress, the participants will have at his disposal some services for his well being ("taking care of the caretaker")
- Immersion in the State culture -                                                 2008 is the tourism year in Recife, the capital of  Pernambuco,and the participants will have the opportunity to see several artistic-cultural demostrations besides knowing Olinda and the historical downtown in Recife, which are Cultural World Heritage.

The ones who have not yet enrolled may do that paying the same fee of the beginning(R$ 480,00). Besides, we offer accomodations in triple rooms (R$ 70,00) or staying with host families (free). For groups of  six(6) people taking part of the Congress , only five(5) will pay the enrollment fees.
