One of the topics on Grouptalk in recent months has focused on discussion of
a very new healing modality called Systemic Family Constellation - sometimes
called Systemic Family Constellation - which has come out of Germany in
recent years. Ron Anderson, my colleague, has been enchanted with this
amazing healing process since 2000, calling it "the direction that J.L.
Moreno would have gone, had he lived a few more decades."

Its goal is to heal the family soul, which is defined as the
interconnectedness of the family system, both present (alive) and past
(deceased). The idea is that that we can energetically heal our ancestors,
thereby healing ourselves. It looks very much like psychodrama, but it is
not psychodrama; instead, it works with the body, with participants
encouraged to use their body as "receivers" of ancestral stories and other
important information.

I was pleased to see so many people attending the Systemic Constellation
Work workshop with Donna Little and myself at the conference in San Antonio,
Tex., this last weekend. (I filled in for Ron, who was recovering from
surgery.)

In fact, it was curious to see several workshops that recognized in some way
the importance of the generations and the ancestors, which is a main focus
of Constellation Work.

Grouptalkers may also wish to know that Heinz Stark, a master trainer from
Germany, will lead a two-year training program in Peebles, Ohio, near
Cincinnati, Ohio, starting August 2008. I just returned from Heinz's
introductory six-day training on April 5 and was dazzled by this new,
powerful and profound approach.

I am attaching a flyer for all interested persons; if it does not come
through, feel free to e-mail me about this process and a copy of the flyer,
which I found valuable both professionally and personally.

P.S. For more information about this rapidly growing approach throughout the
United States and internationally, read Bert Hellinger's "Love's Hidden
Symmetry" and "Acknowledging What Is." Another book of interest is "The
Healing Power Of The Past: A New Approach To Healing Family Wounds" by
Bertold Ulsamer.
