Dear Vickey,
I missed seeing you at the conference. The conference was small, but I found it very sweet, like a family reunion. It felt like people were really connecting with one another. perhaps that is was inspired all this. Along with the death of two of my beloved trainers and losing Joe.
I put the same letter on the ASGPP forum as I put out over grouptalk. I find that grouptalk gets a more immediate response, but I wanted to cover all bases.

  Rebecca,
I did not attend the conference this year for the first time in many years. As I was journaling this morning I started listing all the elders in our society that remain active and that I missed by not attending the conference or who had recently passed on. I think it was a way of emotinally connecting but also a way of looking at options for my own retirement and how I plan to stay active in the next 15 years. What a coincidence that I open my email to your message. I like that you are willing to present your ideas to the community and it seems you have touched a need by many with the number of responses. I think a good place to post would be the ASGPP website or at least a link to it. I think most people are linked to grouptalk, but an entry on that website about the idea may also bring in other folks.
  Vickey

It is with great sadness but even more, with great appreciation, that we begin to recognize the passing on of many of our psychodramatic parents and grandparents and also our brothers and sisters. At the conference, Katrena Hart and I were talking about the idea of posting on our website some sort of family tree. Bill Coleman began one as part of his master's project, probably over ten years ago. I am wondering if there is any one excited enough by this to take on creating a family tree, with photos.I would be glad to help.
There are several family tree programs online which would make it easy.
