Did anyone know Rabbi Alvin Bobroff, a psychodramatist in New York area, who did "religious psychodrama"? He must have trained with Moreno. I tried to track Bobroff down a few months ago, after reading a couple articles he wrote in 1960's. I found he was teaching as of a few years ago. Donell Miller said, though, that Bobroff has since passed.

I would have loved to have talked to him. I would love to hear about him and his work if anyone knew him. You can backchannel me if you have any stories. His article written in 1963 is similar to the work I am doing with psychodrama and spiritual direction.

I have found by perusing old psychodrama journals, that some of us are Coming Full Circle, to things similar to that done before, that have mostly gotten buried in back stacks of libraries. Seems that recording of our living elder's stories about their ancestors may tap into some of this rich era of sociometry, sociatry and other applications outside of psychotherapy that is a vibrant part of our heritage.
