Dear Colleagues, I've been thinking of the challenges of mourning---beyond the initial phases of grief work (which I've written about on my website). New aspects. But I am desirous of correspondence and reflection with any colleagues who find this theme compelling and perhaps have given it some thought. Plus would be willing to read some, comment, add to, share his or her own thoughts.
You could also pass this request on to other colleagues.
               Warmly,
Adam Blatner, M.D.

p.s. You might want to know about and check out an up-coming conference in Toronto July 24-27 put on by the International Network of Personal Meaning. This is a good group, an example of interdisciplinary work in a much-needed arena of our lives.
. They're still accepting some proposals for presentations! The theme is Living well and dying well: New frontier of positive psychology, therapy and spiritual care. http://www.meaning.ca/meaning_conference/call_papers.html
I'll be presenting a workshop and talk on grief work. How about you? The people presenting at this conference are really interesting, many at the cutting edge of positive psychology, existential-humanistic psychology, etc.
