Dear Psychodrama Students,
 
         We are pleased to announce  that we will be offering our Psychodrama 
Intensive Feb. 28--Mar 4,  2008. The first session, Thurs. Jan 28 from 7 - 
9:30 PM will also be  an open introductory session.
        Saphira will be accompanied by  people who have earned their RDTs. 
Also, we will have a guest faculty person for  a day of the training--Ed 
Schreiber, Ed.M. MSW,TEP, who is teaching a Lesley  Univ, has his own institute and 
is the Co-Editor of THE QUINTESSENTIAL ZERKA:  Writings by Zerka Toeman Moreno 
on Psychodrama, which is one of the required  readings.  Ed will be presenting 
on sociometry and also the  spiritual/transpersonal dimensions of J.L and 
Zerka Morneo. It  promises to be a very rich training.

Demonstration of the Psychodrama Group  Method

Participants will be guided through the three parts of  the triadic 
psychodrama system:
warm up, action and sharing.
 
This evening is included as part of the Intensive, or can be  attended 
separately.

Psychodrama  Residential
February 28th - March 4th, 2008
in Jamaica Plains, (Boston) MA
with Saphira Linden, MA, RDT-BCT, LCAT, C.P., Guest  Faculty - Ed Schreiber, 
EDM, MSW, TEP
This Psychodrama Theory and Practice residential will focus on  all aspects 
of the Psychodrama process. The training will involve some didactic  and a lot 
of experiential learning. The students will experience and learn  sociometry, 
psychodrama and group psychotherapy, all of which were developed by  Jacob and 
Zerka Moreno. From the core techniques of doubling and role reversal  to 
expanded multi-scene dramas, students will have opportunities to learn and  
participate. Students will direct small vignettes as well as full psychodramas,  all 
of which will be focused on the participants' issues. Students learn to  
refine skills to work toward the capacity to attune to the protagonist on  
energetic and unconscious levels using body language and vocal tone as well as  
language. In addition, we will explore the transpersonal dimensions of the  
Morenos' contributions and their ramifications for healing. 
 
(Tuition: $1400, $200 deposit required to hold place, 3  Credits/Lodging $25 
a night, kitchen facilities available, restaurants &  natural food market
