Re: Moreno / sharingJim Sacks' comment on Moreno's practice of sharing (he told me to pass it along to y'all): ...I don't know that it happened at a single time. The tendency to analyse the protagonst was painfuly true no matter whether JL or not had made such stipulation or not---especially among mental health professionals. It was a fight for every director to get them to stop and not come across as bossy or manipulative. JL was a master of warming up the analyzers. In response to an inappropriate analytical comment he would say something like, "Ah so you may have something there. You must have been in love yourself at sometime. Ah, What did you say your name was? Ah, yes, yes David. So you do know about these feelings and that left you very sensitive to these things. It may help you in your work. Good, good. now David, her name was what?" I remember his style rather than his words of course. But he had such nerve and he could be so sweet so it always worked. Zerka probably remembers if and when he codified the "sharing".
