THe issue is not whether psychodrama and sociometry have been used in elementary, secondary or college doing a good job in those local venues and often making a very significant difference in the lives of those students who were introduced to these methods. THis has been going on since MOreno did his work with the Girls school in Hudson. THere are many other methods that are as effective in achieving these goals and even more effective like James Comer's work beginnin in the 60s turning the 10 worst schools in New Haven around to the 10 best in 5 years and continuing to do this today in the US and other countries. Howard Glasser's work in the schools has created communities of caring that have comepletely changed the nature  of the schools in which his work of transforming the difficult child and the nurtured heart approach have been used. THe point is how do we get this to be repeated in ever larger contexts where the systems are run by conservative forces that are only
 interested in getting the teahcers to follow some lesson plans sold to them by large publishing companies who have sold their wares to the system and the feelings of the children, the respect for them etc, isn't considered and instead it is all about compliance and not relationships. 
   
  For my money, we need to get together with others like Comer, Glasser, and Ron Clark who have been so successful that they have tremendous community and parental response and support. That is where we can be most successful in the long run not by trying to introduce something as revolutionary as Sociometry and sociodrama and psychodrama to a system that has not begun to move substantially in the direction of relationships.  Even those doing the Socrates discussions have begun instutions along side and sometimes within the schools that can be joined. 
   
  So, the wind is blowing and it;s getting pretty wet over here. Blessings, Bud
