Global Warming Group

Hi Regina,
Great, thanks for doing this – essential work of our time. I have
had a few go-arounds with this, so can share it here with you.
Recently in Granada, earlier Conference Center and at Starseed
Healing Sanctuary I did similar work. I've used the theme, "Facing
the World, Facing Our Selves, Facing Each Other" to design
appropriate action structures, such as locagrams, to choose which
"Facing"
you are most drawn toward. There in that sociometric doubles (in
small groups) were found to stabilize limbic-physiology. I then
presented
sociatric structures drawn from WSS, Future of Man's World,
Sociometry and the Cultural Order, and some other material from
Moreno. In
that I've taken "sociatric structures" which to me are the global
sociometric structures in operation and - organizing the human
experience. These
are the sociodynamic effect and the social organic unity of
humanity. Often the sociometric work I do with groups allows us to
see the sociatric
structures of humankind appear in small groups, as though the small
group is like a 'fractal' of human civilization at this time.
Clearly the sociodynamic effect is in some way related to the
collapse of the environment. ARE YOU AWARE THAT SCIENTISTS ARE NOW
SAYING THAT THERE MAY BE NO ICE IN THE ARCTIC THIS SUMMER? The
projections, just 2 years ago was that unstopped carbon into the
environment would cause the Arctic to be ice free by 2040. Now the
Associated Press is reporting this may happen - this year - and this
is very serious for humanity. So the time for human evolution has
arrived - and I'm reading Tolle's "A New Earth" and finding great
strength and practices in that book to guide my work with Moreno.
Essentially it seems that role reversal is a key - just the
transformational aspect of role reversal (and a stabilizing double
sociometrically in one's social atom) seems essential to help human
beings to awaken. Which is what it is all about. We are so caught
up into our mind, we must awaken as Tolle urges to the indwelling
nature of life within each of us. This to me is an expression of the
Encounter Symbol. The two arcs meet at the center - and create an
image of how the method works: embodying the awakened consciousness
of life in the body and in the group. When I have shown the
sociodynamic effect in the sociometry and have shown the group how to
reverse it, whatever comes next sociometrically indicates another
underlying structure below the sociodynamic effect, which is in
Moreno's view, the social-organic unity. The unity of life beyond
ego. So - that's what I'm doing with all this: helping to awaken
the awakening in myself, and sharing that with others who are
interested.
Much thanks, I extend myself in collaboration in any way I am able.
Best, Ed
