Psychodrama Business

Dear Jen--I don't think you are crass at all asking about this. After all,
we are not only therapists/health care providers, etc., we are also in the
business of psychotherapy and making a decent living at what we do is a
realistic concern.

Becoming certified gave me the confidence and the skills to go out into the
community to market my skills in the form of workshops, etc. Psychodrama is
the single most effective group psychotherapy method that I have
experienced, both personally and professionally. Also, through the process
of certification I learned the history and theory behind the method which
added credibility to my marketing efforts as well as giving me the
background to answer those unfamiliar with its development.

As far as what kind of income you can expect, that depends on your belief in
the method, your confidence in putting yourself out there, and the how much
work you are willing to do to learn how to market your psychodrama services
and then the time you put into doing it.

Hope this helps.

Patti
